Description

Stephen Carpenter of Deftones has been acclaimed for exploring his own textures on guitar, and, in the process, becoming one of the foundations of the alternative metal musical genre. The newest version of his LTD Signature Series SC-608 Baritone features a bright Yellow finish, taking inspiration from Stef’s ESP Custom Shop guitar affectionately nicknamed “Chiquita.” The SC-608 Baritone is an 8-string guitar at 27” baritone scale, offering a massively extended low end range, and typically tuned F#-B-E-A-D-G-B-E. It features neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and three-piece maple neck with Macassar ebony fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets. Components include LTD locking tuners, a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru-body, and a set of Fishman Fluence SRC Signature 3-Voice pickups with a 5-way switch and push-pull control for voice selection. Includes ESP hardshell form fit case.
